What if the worlde were mayde of thicke starres?

Hello and welcome to my online journal. I've been sent here by a daimon to write what thoughts I might be having at any particular moment of the day, though I evade the task when I can.

To Say It Again... (A few aphorisms)

God is a fiction that I refuse to take part in.

A) The most self-consciously myopic moment in the bible occurs when sex had to be mentioned for the first time. To to have to explain this most disastrous of tendencies in divine terms... this must have given the writer of Genesis something much more than a strong sense of embarassment - indeed, the ungainliness of making this aspect as we feel it in ourselves a conscious and deliberate choice on the part of God caused this ancient writer to invent the most bigamous of excuses: original sin.

B) One cannot spend too much time around genius.

C) The television phenomenon (not a concept) of the "quick clip reel" is an injustice to life that makes one believe that it (life) is made up of such "highlights" and that there are no silences, no boredoms, no reveries, and no mourning.

D) If one could adopt a grave, yet modest and friendly air in public, I think she would avoid that offense and rejection caused by a too exotic and curious nature.

E) When one expects too much from a situation, the aggrandizations that one makes to render these expectations invisible are often the very things that prevent their "realization".

F) Misunderstanding is only a synonym with the word possibility.

Philosophy/Ethics

For so long the Good has been confused with the parapet.

(this proposition may be alternatively read as "For so long (in ethics) the Good..." or "For so long (in philosophy) the Good...")
